DGIT’s Telflow wins TM Forum Award
Nice, France June 5, 2014
Today, at the Acropolis Convention Center in Nice, France, the TM Forum announced at the TM Forum Live! Conference and expo that “Service Bundling in a B2B2X Marketplace” is one of the three winners of the TM Forum Live!’s prestigious Catalyst awards. The three winning projects were selected from 15 Catalysts showcased at the event and carefully judged by TM Forum’s Strategy and Adoption Subcommittee.
The Award for “Most significant contribution to Frameworx” was presented to Greg Tilton, Chairman and CTO of DGIT, in commendation of the project that produced and contributed the most to the ongoing evolution of Frameworx.
In less than six months DGIT, the lead vendor for the Catalyst project worked alongside NBNCo, Cisco, AT&T, BT, Orange, Liberated Cloud and Vodafone NZ to create a proof-of-concept demonstration which made significant contributions to the TMForum’s standards and best practices with the aim to help companies reduce cost, risk and time-to-market.
The project demonstrated B2B Service Bundling of Telecommunications, Network Functions Virtualisation and Cloud Services sourced via the latest B2B interfaces. DGIT’s newly TMForum certified product Telflow 3 was used in the Catalyst Demonstration.
