TM Forum announced today that DGIT (http://www.dgit.biz), an Australian specialist telecommunications software and services company has been awarded TM Forum’s Frameworx Conformation Certification for their Telflow 3 product. DGIT is the only Australian software company to receive TM Forum Conformance Certification to date. DGIT joins major international OSS BSS system companies like IBM, Oracle and Amdocs in attaining certification.

Telflow by DGIT is the Dynamic Service Delivery Platform for Telco and Cloud Providers to rapidly manage growth, change and complexity. Telflow has been designed and built in accordance with TM Forum’s Frameworx best practices and standards and is conformant to Frameworx version 13, specifically the Business Process Framework and Information Framework.

Frameworx provides the blueprint for effective, efficient business operations. Frameworx enables service providers to assess and optimize performance using a proven, Service-oriented approach to operations and integration. The Frameworx Product and Solution Conformance Assessment enables suppliers and service providers to verify a product or solution’s conformance to the Framworx Business Process and Information models.

Through clever application of latest Web and IT Technology, the Telflow platform is arguably the most configurable software in this space. Other platforms require coding and time consuming IT projects to do things that are simply configurable in the Telflow platform. It delivers speed to market, low lifecycle costs and allows you to plug in partners. If a partner has a dynamic B2B interface like the Australian NBN, then with Telflow you can plug them in and simply load their products into the Telflow system.

“Service providers are increasingly using Frameworx Conformance as an important distinguishing feature between available software solutions as the need for affordable, efficient and effective business processes become critical to quickly delivering innovative services,” said Nik Willetts, chief strategy officer, TM Forum. “Framworx Conformance Certification reflects DGIT’s commitment to standards and interoperability, and reassures customers that are seeking standards-based, cost effective and flexible solution. We congratulate DGIT on this achievement.”

“This is a major milestone for DGIT, since releasing Telflow 3 this year, DGIT is in commercial negotiations with Tier 1 carriers in Australia and New Zealand and is going through invited sourcing processes with some of the world’s largest Telco’s. It seems that the Telco market is in pain, caused by the inflexibility to their IT systems and changes in the market around them.” Doug Nixon, CEO, DGIT.
